In 2018, Codee Jessen founded Colorado First Plumbing and Sewer LLC with a mission to become "Denver Metro's Most Trusted Plumbers".
What started as a one-man operation grew into a company of 10 at its prime in 2023, serving 6,000+ customers, completing 18,000+ projects, and earning over 1,000 five-star reviews across 6+ platforms.
Woman-owned (majority owned by Michelle Jessen) and Master Plumber owned & operated — not a franchise, not a big box company. Built on family values, transparent pricing, and community trust.
Despite continued demand, an unfortunate chain of events at the end of 2025 and early 2026 led Codee and Michelle to make the difficult decision to close the business. In March 2026, Colorado First Plumbing and Sewer LLC officially closed. Codee and Michelle chose to prioritize family, relocating to raise their children closer to family.

The Road to Closing
After nearly eight years of building Colorado First Plumbing into one of Denver Metro's most trusted plumbing companies, an unfortunate chain of events at the end of 2025 and into early 2026 led Codee and Michelle to make the difficult decision to close the business.
Despite the company's success — 6,000+ satisfied customers, 1,000+ five-star reviews, BBB A+ accreditation, and a BuildZoom Top 2% ranking — the circumstances made continuing operations no longer viable.
Codee and Michelle chose to prioritize what matters most: their family. They made the decision to relocate to raise their children, Christian and Melodee, closer to family. Colorado First Plumbing and Sewer LLC officially closed in March 2026.
The skills, knowledge, and relationships built during this chapter carry forward — the company may be closed, but the expertise and work ethic remain.
